 20 February in Tallinn (Estonia) was an international tournament "Tallinn Judo Cup & Abloy 2010. The tournament was attended by 5 countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Finland and Sweden.
U-15 (1996 - 1997 y.)

In the competition participated 16 countries: Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Great Britain, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Japan and Lithuania.

13 and 14 February in the Austrian capital city Vienna was the World Cup for men, brought together 259 athletes from 35 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and America. Among the participants was the team of Japan, which on the basis of competition with large separation table headed the team event.
Among the Latvian athletes the best result - 5th place of Vladimir OSNACH (+100 kg, "Satori"). Vladimir won victory over the Swede Johansson and Egyptian El Sheshabi, but lost to future champion a Japanese Tachiyama. And in the struggle for bronze Osnach lost Slovene Tseray.

 December 30 championship was held in Latvia on judo among youths under 17 years.
Users in nine weight categories divided about 100 athletes from all over Latvia. On the strong competition on the mat in this day indicates that the prizes won by 14 different clubs and sports schools. Championship Latvia is also a ranking events in the selection for participation in the June round.
Congratulations to Herman Zhukov - 3rd place in the under 73 kg. and David Rundulis 5th place in the weight category up to 83 kg. |

 From 7 to 10 January was a traditional gathering on the international judo, Winter camp - 2010, Ventspils.
With the participation of national teams of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland. In the composition of which were winners of world championships, European and Olympic Games.
The same judicial and coaching seminar on new international rules of judo. Who conducted the judge international category G Shteinberg (Latvia). At the conclusion of the seminar, at the solemn ceremony of Latvian Judo Federation, was awarded the Latvian national team athletes: Borodavko J. (3 rd place EC, 100 kg.), Kozlova D. (3 rd place EC 66 kg.), Milenberga A. (2 nd place EC U-20 81 kg.). |
